Austin Hope GSM 2021
A classic GSM made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grown at the Hope Family Estate in the Templeton Gap District. This small-batch blend is assembled after the first 10 months of aging, and then returned to French oak barrels for an additional six months of integration.
These are the wines that started it all for the Austin Hope label: Rhône varieties from the Hope family’s estate vineyard in the Templeton Gap District.
Our Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Rhône-style blends come from the home vineyard where Austin grew up, and where his parents put down roots in Paso Robles. First launched in 2000, these limited release wines helped spur the region’s reputation for world-class Rhône varieties, reflecting the excellence of the Templeton Gap District and the hands-on winegrowing of Austin Hope and his family.
