Austin Hope Grenache comes from the Hope Family Estate in the Templeton Gap District. The Austin Hope Grenache is a beautifully rustic brick red, filling the glass with aromas of cocoa powder, dried cherries and baking spices. With the first sip, this wine envelopes your palate with rich red fruits, hints of annis and layered, earthy undertones.
These are the wines that started it all for the Austin Hope label: Rhône varieties from the Hope family’s estate vineyard in the Templeton Gap District.
Our Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Rhône-style blends come from the home vineyard where Austin grew up, and where his parents put down roots in Paso Robles. First launched in 2000, these limited release wines helped spur the region’s reputation for world-class Rhône varieties, reflecting the excellence of the Templeton Gap District and the hands-on winegrowing of Austin Hope and his family.
