Malbec excels in a handful of warmer areas in the Paso Robles AVA. We accordingly source our Malbec fruit from a pair of SIP (Sustainability in Practice) Certified vineyards in the Paso Robles Highlands and San Juan districts, which both see slightly warmer summer days during the growing season. These weather conditions advance color development while the calcareous soils help cultivate structure and tannin maturity. A complex aroma profile, juicy and concentrated palate, and energetic flavors strike the perfect balance of richness and elegance. Enjoy now through 2036!

The inaugural vintage of Austin Hope’s Three C’s Blend (Carignan, Cinsaut and Counoise) is a vibrant, medium-bodied red wine. We traveled to the most southern boundary of the Santa Ynez Valley (Happy Canyon AVA) to two special vineyards planted with high quality in mind. Aromas of tart cherry and wild sage lead into a lively palate brimming with strawberry and subtle spice, all grounded by a hint of orange peel and cocoa. Fresh acidity and fine tannins make this expressive blend both food-friendly and effortlessly drinkable. When to enjoy:  now through 2033!

The standard for luxury Cabernet Sauvignon in Paso Robles, this ninth vintage of Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon is carefully sourced from vineyards from all over the Paso Robles AVA.  The 2023 vintage was sourced from six of the eleven Paso Robles districts, this wine is synonymous with Austin’s personal quest to elevate Paso Robles on the world stage. Dark ruby in color, the 2023 Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of freshly picked black currants and ripe blackberries, with subtle notes of violets, mocha, and dried spices.  When to enjoy:  now through 2037!

Petite Sirah/Lagrein

Both of these varietals are sourced from the Paso Robles Highlands district. The Petite Sirah vineyard is located along a sandy riverbed with low intervention farming resulting in intense color and structure. The Lagrein is grown on a well-known vineyard that is one of the very few vineyards to plant Lagrein in California. At elevations of 1600’ with cooling afternoon breezes. Rich yet balanced, it finishes long with lingering notes of dark fruit and spice. When to enjoy: now through 2035.

Graciano

We source this Graciano from a high elevation vineyard in the Paso Robles Highlands district where soils are thin and full of ancient seabed matter, allowing the vines to self-regulate with vigor and fruit ratios. The 2023 Graciano displays a dark purple hue. Violet and black plum aromas mingle with hints of vanilla. Luscious flavors of Bing cherry, blackberry and cinnamon are met by soft supple tannins that linger beautifully. When to enjoy:  now through 2037!
